January 22, 20241 min read

Tempo continues to assist you in supporting and retaining your customers. For those of you who've invested in the up to date TV220E or TV220EX coaxial TDRs, please visit our software downloads page here. If you scroll down a bit, you'll discover the section for TV220E. There, you can download a ZIP file containing the update and instructions on how to install it. The process is straightforward: unzip the contents to a USB drive, insert it into the TV220E/EX, go to "Settings," choose "Info," select the update button, and follow the provided instructions.

Summary

There have been a lot of changes made that are "under the hood,” enhancing overall performance and speed while preparing for upcoming features. The noticeable changes primarily involve how the TDR conducts its automatic tests and displays events with return loss. Also, we've added more information to the status bar and refined the process for reviewing saved files.

Manual

To support this release, as there are so many small updates, we've updated the manual that can also be downloaded from the above link. Check back on the updates page regularly, as more are in the works which will give you even more features and we will continue to update the manual.
